LIMA, Pa.—June 19, 2017— Pilot Freight Services (Pilot), a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services, today announced the promotion of Gordon Branov, a 20-year Pilot veteran, to chief executive officer, and John Hill to president after 23 years with the company. Richard Phillips, who has served as chief executive officer for 10 years, will move into the role of chairman of the board, and Lou Cortese, former president, will retire after more than 30 years of service.

They will form the backbone of the team to lead Pilot to many more years of growth.” Phillips added, “In my own new role, I will be in a position to guide the company, and am excited to work hard to ensure its successful future.”

Founded in 1970, Pilot provides expedited and time-definite domestic and international freight forwarding, e-commerce and home delivery, and value-added logistics services through a network of over 75 stations in North America and Western Europe and 87 core international partners.
